Happy Purim

To all my Jewish readers! Actually, Purim is a holiday Christians might want to pay more attention to than we've traditionally done. It celebrates the deliverence of the diaspora Jewry of the Persian Empire from the arrogant Haman. Though my modern-orthodox friend Josh says it's basically an excuse to get completely completely verschnikkered, the principles of humility, racial tolerence, and justice, as well as God's care for those outside the land of Israel, are valuable lessons for any time. So tip that Schnapps, and have a great Purim!
